It’s a pleasure to meet you! Here is a little bit about myself: I’m a native Pacific Northwester. I started playing trombone at the age of 10, and moved on to guitar which kept my passion for music alive, and my music room wall full of guitars. My wife and I love exploring all of the corners of our beautiful region. I come from a long history in the hospitality industry, having been a general manager at some iconic restaurants. This gave me focus on the happiness of my guests, and now, my clients. (Bonus fun fact: I randomly count things in groups of 4, likely due to my music background!)
I believe in giving back to my community. I have volunteered extensively with Attain Housing (located in downtown Kirkland) and was honored with their Volunteer of the Year award in 2019. I also sit on the Government and Public Affairs Committee with Seattle King County Realtors and am up to date with current trends in our regional real estate market. I am also treasurer for the Juanita Neighborhoods Association. As such, I am dialed into not only our real estate market, but also community events and city infrastructure projects which impact our daily lives. Being able to creatively solve problems fulfills me, and I am rewarded with the trust I gain from people in my sphere. I hold this so close that I integrated this into my logo.
You may notice first the ‘S’ in the center representing [obviously] me – Rob Scarber, a real estate broker. Or you may notice more prominently, the hands in which it is held. These hands represent myself and my clients. I’ve been held in other’s hands as they helped me become who I am and achieve my goals in life; and in turn, I have dedicated myself to helping others – whether that be through services in my community or guiding buyers and sellers through the ever-moving machine of real estate. My hope is that in any capacity that we may meet, you’ll find that I am a Helping Hand.
